26 Grains

Background

26 Grains is a porridge restaurant in London founded by Alex Hely-Hutchinson. I created a logo for Alex back when 26 Grains was just selling oatmeal to commuters from a pop up stand. Now it’s a cozy cafe in bustling Neal’s Yard with a second location on the way. There’s even a 26 Grains cookbook.

For the logo, I wanted to incorporate grains and a Scandinavian modern feeling, since Alex was inspired by living in Copenhagen and hygge culture there.
